‘All of human history has happened on that tiny pixel which is our only home.’ That’s correct, the tiny blue pixel halfway the brown band on the right is our home, planet Earth. The picture was taken from a record distance of 6 billion kilometres by the Voyager 1 in 1990. Just try to imagine that what we call the world – everything around us, everything we know and everything we love – is nothing but a tiny blue pixel in the vastness of space.
